I grew up in Glenwood Springs, CO. My folks wanted me out of the house and enrolled me in the Sunlight Alpine Ski Team. I competed in the Junior Olympics and received a ski scholarship at Colorado mountain College to obtain my Associates degree.

I then received a ski scholarship for the University of New Mexico and received my Bachelors in Exercise Physiology. After traveling to Washington state and Wisconsin I decided to get my nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I meet my husband at a local ski area and he got me involved in mountain biking.

After graduation we moved back to Colorado where he bought me my first road bike. I really enjoy the competition and speed of cycling as well as travelling to different areas for racing and meeting lots of neat people. Our adventure this year is to compete in our first Ironman - Cozumel.
