My name is Mike Zagorski. I'm a project engineer and also a competitive cyclist. I run a cycling team, BME Racing, in Honolulu, Hawaii which I started in 2009. I grew up in the Scottish Highlands, where I studied Architecture and raced mountain bikes from 1995-1999.
I moved to Colorado in 2000, then to Honolulu, Hawaii 9 months later. I've lived here since then, competing in road races, time trials, criteriums, and more recently I've focused on track racing. I've won mountain bike races, road races, time trials, criteriums, hillclimbs, and track races! My palmares include 15 Hawaii State Championship wins, medals at both master and elite track nationals, and two master track national titles won in Sept 2010!
When I'm not training or racing, I like to spend time in the ocean catching waves in the warm pacific waters.
