White Water Rafting

BIO

The first time I ran the river in 2001 with some friend’s whitewater rafting guide, I already knew that I would like to do this job. I began to guide in 2002 but I needed to push myself more and I got interested as soon as I heard about rafting competition; I was interested to compete. I was doing a lot of canoeing with my family when I was a kid. I started to compete and I built my own team in 2003 named Les Filles de la Rouge.

We competed and ran lots of rivers in Quebec, United States, Argentina and India. It's an incredible way to visit part of the countries, accessible just by the river. You go with the flow, you are in contact with white water, feeling the force of the river always make you feel in control but so vulnerable in the same time. The whitewater make you feel so alive, it gives you energy. It's an amazing feeling and now I can't live without it.
