My name is Malcolm and I live the sport of lacrosse. In addition to playing in Elite tournaments all over the country - both indoor and outdoor, I coach and provide training for youth, high school and college athletes privately, at camps and in my own league here in Maine.
I first picked up a lacrosse stick at summer camp when I was 8 years old and loved the uniqueness and speed of the game. It wasn't until high school that I was taught the true fundamentals and, as soon as I grew into my lanky frame, was able to use my athleticism to play the aggressive signature style I love to play. I have been very fortunate through my playing and coaching to connect with some of the best players in lacrosse.
Pre-game, you will usually catch me on a foam roller with my headphones in, bumping some hip-hop and metal, digesting my favorite pre-game meal (steak burrito with extra guacamole/grape Vitamin Water) and getting my body ready to compete. Any opportunity I have to run against an All-Pro this or former D1 All American that, I take full advantage of and love to match my experience and athleticism with the best in our game.
Post-game I love chillin' with my teammates. Whether we're kicking back in Vail looking up at snow capped mountains or any random parking lot after a summer tourney here in New England, there is no better scene than both teams hanging out together enjoying some beverages and the camaraderie that is a proud tradition of our sport. Lacrosse is a warrior's game, but it is also a spiritual game of brotherhood amongst all who play.
