Cyclocross

- 2006 World Championships Cyclocross Team
- Top 25 in several world cups
- Top 15 for 3 years at Cyclocross Nationals
- 2010 Duathlon World's Qualifier
I started racing cyclocross competitively the year after my first child was born and was hooked. I have raced triathlons, I have raced on the road and on the mountain bike, but I keep returning to cyclocross as my favorite discipline. This will be my 4th year of UCI racing in which I hope to have a successful season.
I currently teach spin classes at one of our local gyms which comprises about 80% of my training. Having children causes you to prioritize life a little differently and the amount of time for training diminishes significantly. Quality over quantity is truly important in so many aspects of life. Fortunately, I have an extremely supportive husband that has enabled me to continue training and racing. Although I haven’t had the same success I had the first year I raced cross I have continued to enjoy the competition and the relationships that we have established in the cycling community. Yes, I want to win, but if I can be a positive role model for my children, I feel like I have accomplished more than I ever would by standing on the podium.
